Mild with another round of significant rain today! Mainly dry Thursday through the weekend with cooler temperatures!


Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and there is some dense fog around, also some light showers are across the Hudson Valley, temperatures are mild with readings ranging from the low 50s here in Clifton to the low 40s further inland, winds are light.  Yesterday around 1.25″ of rain fell here in Clifton with higher amounts to 2 inches recorded at Newark and Central Park which were records for the date.

Another low pressure moving into the area will cause rain to develop this morning becoming heavy at times this afternoon and evening, look for another 1 1/4″ of rain from this system.

Dry weather is expected Thursday into the weekend, temperatures will still be above normal Thursday and Friday and closer to normal over the weekend.

Another low pressure may give us a chance of rain Sunday night into Monday and some areas the rain may be mixed with snow.

TONIGHT – Rain possibly heavy at times along with a chance of thunderstorms, rain tapering off and ending after midnight, low in the upper 40s.

Mild with well needed significant rainfall today and again on Wednesday!


Skies are cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are mild with readings ranging from around 50 in the Clifton area to near 40 further inland, winds are mostly calm.

Today a low pressure system will be moving into the area with rain beginning this morning and tapering off this evening, rainfall from this system will average around 1 1/2 inches with some higher amounts possible, it will be quite mild as temperatures rise to the low 60s,

After a lull in the rain tomorrow morning another low pressure along a cold front will give us more rain mainly falling in the afternoon and evening, another inch of rain is  possible along with continued mild temperatures.

We should clear out on Thursday, temperatures will be slightly lower but still well above normal for the first day of December.

Dry weather with slightly above normal temperatures Friday through the weekend.

Another disturbance may give us some more rain on Monday.

Today will be a dry day with milder temperatures after a chilly start, we should see some increasing cloudiness late in the day as high pressure moves offshore.

A low pressure system will be in our area on Tuesday causing rain along with quite mild temperatures.  Rainfall amounts should average about an inch.

Rain should end late Tuesday but another low pressure will cause more rain Wednesday afternoon and evening and we should pick up another inch or so of rainfall.

We should dry out on Thursday with continued quite mild temperatures.

Dry weather will continue Friday though the weekend, temperatures will still be above normal on Friday and near normal over the weekend.

Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures range from the upper 30s here in Clifton to the upper 20s further inland, winds are light.

High pressure will be in control of our weather today and on Monday providing plenty of sunshine both days, temperatures will be near seasonable levels with highs both days around the 50 degree mark.

A low pressure system will give us rain on Tuesday along with milder temperatures. There will be a break in the precipitation Tuesday night into Wednesday morning but another low pressure will give us more rain Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning with mild temperatures continuing.  Look for a total of 2-3 inches of well needed rainfall Tuesday through Thursday.

Dry with seasonably cool temperatures Friday into the start of next weekend.

Today we should clear out and it will be a rather nice day with temperatures a little above normal as low pressure moves well offshore and high pressure builds in from the west.

Tomorrow will be dry with slightly cooler temperatures.

Dry weather will persist on Monday with seasonable temperatures.

A front will slowly approach the area on Tuesday with a couple of low pressure waves riding up along this front which will likely give us periods of rain through Thursday, rainfall amounts during this period may average 1-2 inches, temperatures will be mild.

Dry conditions should return for Friday with cooler temperatures.
