THURSDAY  MARCH 23, 2017   5:55 A.M.

Mostly clear skies early this morning and temperatures are quite cold with readings ranging from around 20 in the Clifton area to around 10 in some inland areas, some record lows have been recorded, winds are quite light.

A strong Arctic high pressure will build over the area today providing plenty of sunshine, temperatures in the afternoon will be slightly milder than yesterday and with much less wind it will not feel as harsh.

A warm front will be approaching on Friday giving us a chance of light rain during the day with possibly a wintery mix especially inland in the morning, temperatures will rise to near normal by the afternoon.

Saturday we will be in the warm sector and tempertures will rise into the low 60s but as a backdoor cold front approaches from the north that may touch off some showers in the afternoon and at night.

Cooler and unsettled conditions Sunday through at least Tuesday with considerable cloudiness and periods of rain likely, the best likelihood of rain will be from Sunday night into Monday morning.
