Quite mild and mainly dry weather today and on Monday! Significant rain likely Tuesday into Wednesday!


SUNDAY  OCTOBER 22, 2017  5:44 A.M.

Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and once again there is a wide spread in temperatures ranging from around 50 in the Clifton area down to the mid 30s further inland, some valleys are reporting patchy fog.

Today we will have mostly sunny skies and high temperatures once again will be well up into the 70s as high pressure dominates our weather.

More clouds on Monday with even a chance of some afternoon drizzle as the humidity rises, temperatures once again will be well above normal.

A slow moving front will cause rain on Tuesday, it will continue to be quite mild and become humid, winds will increase from the south.  Rainfall amounts are expected to average 1.5 to 3 inches.

Still some showers on Wednesday with cooler temperatures.

Thursday will be the coolest day of the week with highs around 60 which is near normal for this time of year.

Dry Friday and Saturday and once again temperatures will be above normal.

MONDAY – OCT 23 – Mostly cloudy, chance of afternoon drizzle,  high in the mid 70s.

TUESDAY – OCT 24 – Rain with possibly some thunderstorms, humid and breezy, high in the low 70s.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 25 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the upper 60s.

THURSDAY – OCT 26 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 60s.

FRIDAY – OCT 27 – Sunny, high in the mid 60s.

SATURDAY – OCT 28 – Mostly sunny, high near 70.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  TODAY – South winds to 7 knots, seas 2 feet,

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected during the day on Monday;  small craft conditions with possible gales Monday night into Tuesday; small craft conditions likely Tuesday night through Thursday.
