Partly sunny and seasonably mild today! Dry Thursday through Saturday! Rain likely Sunday afternoon into Monday!


WEDNESDAY  OCT 25, 2017  5:51 A.M.

Skies are mostly clear early on this Wednesday morning although there is some patchy fog in some of the inland areas, temperatures are mild once again ranging from the upper 50s in the Clifton area down to the upper 40s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

Yesterday we only received .40 inches of rain as most of the heaviest rain fell over Long Island and Connecticut.

Today we will have a mix of clouds and sunshine, temperatures will be seasonably mild with highs near 70.

Cooler Thursday and Friday with dry conditions, temperatures will be near normal levels.

A little milder on Saturday and we should continue to be dry.

The next chance of significant rain will be Sunday afternoon into Monday as low pressure moves along a front near our area.

SUNDAY – OCT 29 – Cloudy with rain mainly after noon, high in the upper 60s.

MONDAY – OCT 30 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the upper 50s.

HALLOWEEN – OCT 31 – Sunny, high near 60.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  A small craft advisory is in effect for high seas until 6 a.m. Thursday morning.  Today – West-northwest wind to 8 knots, seas 5-8 feet.

OUTLOOK –  Small craft conditions expected during the day on Thursday; no advisories expected Thursday night through the day on Saturday;  Small craft conditions expected Saturday night into Sunday with possible gales.
