Cloudy and milder today with some light showers! Quite mild on Monday with showers likely in the afternoon! Cooler and mainly dry the rest of the week!


SUNDAY  NOVEMBER 5, 2017  5:49  A.M.  EASTERN STANDARD TIME!

We have cloudy skies early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are milder than this time yesterday ranging from the low 50s in the Clifton area to the mid 40s inland, there are some light showers in parts of the area.

High pressure is moving off the New England coast as a warm front approaches from the southwest, we should have cloudy skies most of today with some light showers likely.

The warm front will pass north of us tonight, overnight will be very mild and it will be rather warm on Monday with temperatures rising into the 70s.  A cold front will cross the area in the afternoon and evening accompanied by showers and followed by clearing and cooler weather for Monday night.

A period of mainly dry and cool weather Tuesday into the beginning of next weekend, the models have backed off from the very cold temperatures that was anticipated for Friday so we may not have the hard freeze that was anticipated for Friday morning.

TODAY – NOV 5 – Cloudy with showers likely, high in the low 60s.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with showers likely mainly in the evening, low in the upper 50s.

MONDAY – NOV 6 – Cloudy with a chance of showers in the morning, with showers likely in the afternoon and evening, mild with highs in the low 70s.

TUESDAY – NOV 7 – Partly sunny, high in the mid 50s.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 8 – Partly sunny, high in the mid 50s.

THURSDAY – NOV 9 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 50s.

FRIDAY – NOV 10 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 50s.

VETERAN’S DAY – NOV 11 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 50s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  A small craft advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. this evening for easterly winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 3-5 feet.

OUTLOOK – Advisories possible for higher seas Monday through Thursday.
