Dry, breezy and cooler today! Rain likely from Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning! Dry most of next week!

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from the upper 30s in the Clifton area down to the low 30s further inland, winds are gusty out of the northwest.

Today will be a mostly sunny and a breezy day with cooler temperatures as high pressure builds into the area from the midwest.   Winds will diminsh tonight.

A strong frontal system will likely give us rain from Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning, winds will become strong Saturday night into Sunday, temperatures will be seasonably mild.

Dry weather most of next week, Monday will be cool with gusty winds, Tuesday should be the mildest day of the week but colder air will be in the area from late Wednesday into Thanksgiving Day.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – NOV 17 – Sunny and breezy, high near 50.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low around 30.

SATURDAY – NOV 18 – Increasing cloudiness with showers likely after 4 p.m., high in the mid 50s.  Showers continuing at night and becoming windy.

SUNDAY – NOV 19 – Cloudy with a chance of showers in the morning then becoming mostly sunny, windy with highs in the low 50s.

MONDAY – NOV 20 – Mostly sunny, breezy and cooler, high in the mid 40s.

TUESDAY – NOV 21 – Mostly sunny and milder, high in the mid 50s.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 22 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 50s

THANKSGIVING DAY – Mostly sunny and cool, high in the mid 40s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  A small craft advisory is in effect until 10 p.m. tonight for northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet.

OUTLOOK – A gale watch has been posted effective from Saturday afternoon until Sunday afternoon; small craft conditions likely during the day on Monday and again on Tuesday afternoon.
