Cold, dry and breezy today! Milder with increasing clouds on Friday! Mild over the weekend with rain Saturday afternoon through Sunday!


THURSDAY  FEBRUARY 8, 2017  5:40 A.M.

Good Thursday morning!   Skies are mostly cloudy early this morning and temperatures range from the mid 20s in the Clifton area to the mid teens further inland, winds are brisk out of the northwest.  It may be icy on untreated roads and sidewalks so be careful if you are heading out this morning.

Today will be a cold and breezy day with temperatures struggling to reach the freezing mark.  High pressure will be building from the midwest.

Tomorrow we should see some increasing cloudiness it will be milder after a cold start.

Milder still on the weekend but a storm system is expected to give the area rain from Saturday night through Sunday.

Mild much of next week and we may have more rain on Tuesday.

TODAY – FEB 8 – Sunny and breezy, high in the low 30s.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low in the upper teens.

FRIDAY – FEB 9 – Increasing cloudiness, high in the upper 30s.

SATURDAY – FEB 10 – Mostly cloudy with rain likely developing by the afternoon, high near 50.

SUNDAY – FEB 11 – Rain likely, high in the low 50s.

MONDAY – FEB 12 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 40s.

TUESDAY – FEB 13 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the mid 40s.

WEDNESDAY – FEB 14 – Partly sunny, high near 50.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  A small craft advisory is in effect until noon today for northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-6 feet.  Winds and seas diminishing this afternoong.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Friday and Saturday; possible small craft conditions Sunday and Monday.
