Mostly sunny today with lighter winds and slightly milder temperatures!


Good morning everyone!   Skies are mostly clear early this morning and temperatures range from around 30 in Clifton to the upper teens further inland, winds are light northerly.

Today we will have mostly sunny conditions and slightly milder temperatures, with the strong sunshine and lighter winds it will feel much more comfortable than yesterday.

Dry weather on Tuesday but a weak front may give us some light rain Tuesday night into Wednesday, well inland across northwest New Jersey and the Poconos it may be cold enough for some freezing rain.

Milder Thursday and Friday along with a good chance of showers Thursday night into Friday as a slow moving cold front approaches the area.

At this point Easter weekend looks mainly dry with near normal temperatures.

TODAY – MAR 26 – Sunny, high in the upper 40s.

TONIGHT – Clear, low in the upper 20s.

TUESDAY – MAR 27 – Increasing clouds, high near 50, chance of light rain after midnight.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 28 – Cloudy with a chance of light rain, high near 50.

THURSDAY – MAR 29 – Mostly cloudy and milder, high near 60, chance of rain at night.

FRIDAY – MAR 30 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high near 60.

SATURDAY – MAR 31 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 50s.

EASTER SUNDAY – APR 1 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 50s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Wednesday morning,  winds northeast gusting to 30 knots, seas 6-9 feet.

OUTLOOK – Small craft conditions possible for high seas on Wednesday; no advisories expected Thursday and Friday.
