More sunshine today but staying breezy and cool! Dry and pleasant weather for this weekend!


Good morning everyone!     Skies are mostly cloudy early this morning and temperatures are once again cool ranging from the middle 30s in Clifton down to around 30 further inland, winds are brisk out of the northwest.

Low pressure over Eastern Canada and high pressure building from the upper midwest will give us a brisk northwest flow of cool air.  There will be more sunshine today and temperatures will be a couple of degrees higher than yesterday.

Plenty of sunshine over the weekend with a slow warming trend as high pressure builds closer to the area.

The pleasant weather is expected to continue into early next week.

The next chance of significant rain will be on Wednesday into Thursday as low pressure moves up the coast from the south, the rain may be heavy at times.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – APR 20 – Mostly sunny, breezy and cool, high in the low 50s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the mid 30s.

SATURDAY – APR 21 – Sunny, high near 60.

SUNDAY – APR 22 – Sunny, high in the low 60s.

MONDAY – APR 23 – Sunny, high in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – APR 24 – Partly sunny, high in the low 60s.

WEDNESDAY – APR 25 – Cloudy with rain likely, high in the low 60s.

THURSDAY – APR 26 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the low 60s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  A small craft advisory is in effect until 2 p.m. this afternoon for northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 4-6 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Friday night through Monday; Small craft advisories likely on Tuesday.
