Sunshine returns today with milder temperatures! Cool on Friday with more rain!


Good morning!    Skies have become partly cloudy early this morning and temperatures are quite mild with readings ranging from the mid 50s in Clifton down to the upper 40s further inland, winds are from the northwest.

Today we will have a mostly sunny day and milder temperatures as a weak high pressure builds into the area.

Another area of low pressure will give us cooler temperatures on Friday along with some rain from mid-morning into Friday evening, rainfall amounts should be between 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch.

Mainly dry and mild on Saturday but a cold front may cause some showers in the afternoon and evening.

Cool and dry on Sunday.

Dry weather most of next week with a warming trend, temperatures in the 60s on Monday, 70s on Tuesday with warm 80s on Wednesday.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – APR 26 – Mostly sunny, high near 70.

TONIGHT – Increasing cloudiness, low in the upper 40s.

FRIDAY – APR 27 – Cloudy and cool with rain mainly after 10 a.m., high in the upper 50s.

SATURDAY – APR 28 – Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon or evening showers, high in the upper 60s.

SUNDAY – APR 29 – Partly sunny and cool, high in the upper 50s.

MONDAY – APR 30 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 60s.

TUESDAY – MAY 1 – Sunny, high in the upper 70s.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 2 – Sunny and warm, high in the low 80s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Friday morning,  winds southwest to 20 knots, seas 5-8 feet.

OUTLOOK – Possible small craft conditions for high seas on Friday; no advisories expected Saturday through Monday.
