Good morning everyone!
Light rain is falling early this morning and temperatures are ranging from the low 50s in the Clifton area down to the middle 40s further inland, winds are mainly calm.
A front across Central New Jersey will remain stationary as ripples of low pressure moves along it. Rain will fall this morning then there may be a break in the precipitation early this afternoon but some showers and possible a thunderstorm will redevelop late this afternoon into this evening. Temperatures will be cool north of the front with highs only around 60 in our area but may rise into the 80s across the southern part of New Jersey where some severe thunderstorms are possible.
Periods of mainly light rain on Mother’s Day, temperatures will continue to be cool.
Milder on Monday and this may be the driest day of the upcoming week, high temperatures should reach to near normal.
Warmer Tuesday and Wednesday but a chance of showers both days mainly in the afternoon and evening.
Not as warm at the end of the week but the risk of some showers remain.

TUESDAY – MAY 15 – Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, warmer, high in the low 80s.
WEDNESDAY – MAY 16 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 70s.
THURSDAY – MAY 17 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the low 70s.
FRIDAY – MAY 18 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the upper 60s.
