Much cooler today with periods of rain! Chances of rain continue tomorrow through the weekend!

Good morning!

Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early this morning and temperatures range from the low 60s in Clifton to the mid 50s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

After having near record heat yesterday and the severe weather especially over the Hudson Valley we will have much cooler weather today with periods of rain, high temperatures will only rise a little from this morning’s readings with highs only in the low 60s dropping to the 50s this afternoon.  A front will be just to our south with weak low pressure moving along the front.

Tomorrow we will still have a chance of rain but maybe some brief sunshine in the afternoon, highs will rise into the 70s.

Rain possibly heavy at times Friday and Saturday with cool temperatures as the front will still be south of the area.

The front will move to the north late Saturday and it will become warmer Sunday and Monday but still with a chance of showers.

Finally high pressure will build in for Tuesday along with near seasonable temperatures.
