Good morning everyone!

Skies are cloudy early this morning and there are some light showers around especially over western sections of Morris County.  Temperatures range from the low 60s in the Clifton area down to the upper 50s further inland, winds are light easterly.

Today will be a mainly cloudy day as high pressure moves off the New England coast and a warm front approaches from the southwest   An onshore flow will keep temperatures on the cool side along with some scattered light showers.

The warm front will  move to our north overnight with very warm and humid air will move into the area for Friday.  Showers and a few thunderstorms may develop in the soupy air mass.

A cold front will cross the area Friday night and Saturday will be a little cooler along with a good chance of showers throughout the day.

Cool and unsettled weather Sunday through at least the middle of next week as an upper level trough moves into our area.  There will be a chance of showers each day with below normal temperatures.

TONIGHT – Cloudy and muggy with a chance of showers, low in the mid 60s.

FRIDAY – JUN 1 – Mostly cloudy in the morning then partly sunny in the afternoon with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, quite humid, high in the mid 80s.

SATURDAY – JUN 2 – Cloudy with showers likely, high near 80.

SUNDAY – JUN 3 – Mostly cloudy and cooler, high in the upper 60s, chance of showers at night.

MONDAY – JUN 4 – Cloudy and cool with a chance of showers, high in the mid 60s.

TUESDAY – JUN 5 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high in the upper 60s.

WEDNESDAY – JUN 6 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high near 70.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected for Friday; advisories expected Saturday through Monday.
