Increasing cloudiness and seasonably warm today! Rain tonight! More rain likely late Friday into the weekend!


Good morning everyone!

Skies are partly cloudy early this morning and temperatures range from the upper 60s in the Clifton area down to the upper 50s further inland, winds are mostly calm.

We should see an increase in clouds today with seasonably warm temperatures.  A disturbance coming in from the west will give the area rain mainly falling from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Thursday morning.   Rainfall amounts will average 1/2 to 1 inch with higher amounts possible, there also may be a few rumbles of thunder.

We should clear out on Thursday after some early showers, temperatures will continue to be seasonably warm.

Friday will start off dry but a warm front approaching will cause rain to develop by Friday night and continue into Saturday, with the clouds and showers temperatures will be not as warm.

Sunday will be warmer as the warm front pushes through but we should still have some widely scattered showers and thunderstorms as a cold front crosses the area Sunday night.

Mainly dry early next week with comfortable temperatures, however a weak disturbance may touch off a shower or thunderstorm on Monday.

Skies are mostly cloudy early this morning and it is very warm and steamy, temperatures range from the upper 70s in the Clifton area down to around 70 further inland,  dew points are in the oppressive low 70s.

A cold front will cross the area this morning followed by clearing skies, temperatures will reach to near 90 but the humidity will drop significantly with dew points falling to the 50s by this afternoon.

High pressure will give our area dry conditions with seasonably warm temperature on Wednesday but a disturbance moving in from the west will give us a good chance of showers at night.

Fair with continued seasonably warm temperatures Thursday and on Friday.

At this point the weekend looks to be unsettled with shower chances from Saturday afternoon into early Sunday morning as a warm front will be followed by a cold front on Sunday.  Temperatures will be a little below normal on Saturday but warm to above normal levels on Sunday.

Fair weather with comfortable temperatures early next week.

Hot and humid today with a chance of thunderstorms this evening and tonight! Quite warm but less humid on Tuesday!


Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly clear early this morning and temperatures are quite mild ranging from the low 70s in the Clifton area down to 60 degrees in some of the cooler areas well inland, winds are light southwesterly.

It will be a very hot day today with increasing humidity as temperatures rise into the 90s and with the dew points rising  to near 70 it will cause heat indexes to rise to near 100 degrees, a heat advisory is in effect.   A cold front approaching from the northwest will touch off some shower and thunderstorm activity this evening into tonight.

The cold front will cross the area before daybreak on Tuesday followed by less humid air, it will still be quite warm with highs near 90.

Wednesday will start off dry but a weak disturbance will give us a chance of showers at night, temperatures will not be as warm.

Thursday and Friday will be quite pleasant as another high pressure builds into the area, temperatures will be seasonably warm but with comfortable humidity.

The weekend’s weather looks to be a bit more pessimistic as a front will be approaching, the best chance of showers will be from Saturday night into Sunday, temperatures will be still seasonably warm but the humidity will increase.

Skies are clear early this morning and temperatures range from the mid 60s in the Clifton area down to some low 50s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

High pressure will be over the area today providing plenty of sunshine along with very warm temperatures as highs reach to near 90, humidity will be moderate.

As the high moves off the coast a southwest flow of very hot and increasingly humid air will be with us on Monday, temperatures will climb to the mid 90s and with dew points approaching 70 will cause heat indexes to rise to near 100.  A cold front approaching may cause some nighttime showers and thunderstorms.

The cold front will cross the area Tuesday morning with a chance of lingering showers followed by partly sunny skies and although it will be still quite warm it will become less humid.

High pressure will control our weather Wednesday into next weekend.  Temperatures will be seasonably warm and at this point it looks like dry weather will persist though next weekend.

Finally a dry weekend with warm temperatures! Quite hot on Monday with some late showers possible!


Good morning everyone!

Skies are mainly clear early on this Saturday morning and with calm winds there is a wide range in temperatures with the low 60s in the Clifton area down to some upper 40s further inland.

After having seven straight weekends with some rain we will finally have a dry weekend as high pressure will dominate our weather this weekend providing warm temperatures with plenty of sunshine both days.  Temperatures will warm into the upper 80s today and close to 90 on Sunday, humidity will be moderate.

Monday will be quite hot and more humid as temperatures rise up into the 90s and with the higher humidity heat indexes will be close to 100.  There will be a low chance of evening showers and thunderstorms.

A cold front will cross the area on Tuesday again giving the area a chance of showers and thunderstorms, it won’t be as hot but the temperature may be close to 90 once again.

High pressure will then build into the area for the rest of the week providing dry conditions and seasonably warm temperatures.
