Coastal storm causing rain and wind with cool temperatures today! Better weather for Sunday!

Good morning everyone!

Rain is falling across the area this morning and with winds gusting to 25 mph makes it feel quite miserable outside, temperatures are mostly in the low 40s.

Rain will continue today with winds gusting to 35 mph especially this morning, along the coast winds will gust to near 50 mph and there is a coastal flood warning in effect.  The rain will taper off to showers this afternoon and to occasional drizzle tonight, winds will diminish this afternoon.   Rainfall amounts will be between 1 and 1 1/2 inches.

Dry weather Tuesday and on Halloween, it will be cool on Tuesday but milder for the Trick or Treaters.

A slow moving front may cause some more showers along with mild temperatures Thursday and Friday.
