Rain developing this morning and continuing into tonight! Showers and milder on Tuesday!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Monday morning and temperatures range from the mid 40s in Clifton down to some mid 30s further inland, winds are light.

High pressure off the Maine coast along with low pressure  to our south will give us an onshore flow of cool and moist air.  Rain will develop this morning and continue into tonight.

Milder on Tuesday as a warm front will move through the area in the morning followed by a cold front crossing the area by Tuesday evening.  There may be a dry period Tuesday morning but showers and possibly a thunderstorm will be likely in the afternoon and early evening.

Dry weather is expected Wednesday into the day on Thursday as high pressure builds into the area.

Another frontal system will likely give us rain on Friday.

The weekend at this point looks to be dry and chilly.
