Cloudy and milder today with occasional drizzle! Periods of rain tonight through Sunday!


Good morning!

Skies are cloudy early on this Friday morning and there is some drizzle falling in parts of the area, temperatures range from the upper 30s in Clifton to around 30 further inland where some freezing drizzle may be occuring, winds are light.

Today will be a cloudy but milder day with occasional drizzle as high pressure moves off the coast.   Rain from a low pressure will fall from tonight into Saturday morning.

There may be a break in the precipitation Saturday afternoon and evening but more rain and cooler temperatures is expected on Sunday.  Some snow showers may mix in with the rain before it ends very early Monday morning.

Dry weather is expected from during the day on Monday through Thursday, temperatures will be seasonably cold.

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – DEC 14 – Cloudy with a chance of drizzle, milder with highs near 50.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with a chance of rain before midnight then rain likely after midnight, low in the low 40s.

SATURDAY – DEC 15 – Cloudy with rain mainly before noon, high near 50, chance of rain again at night.

SUNDAY – DEC 16 – Cloudy with rain likely, high in the low 40s. Rain may mix with snow before ending at night.

MONDAY – DEC 17 – Partly sunny, high in the mid 40s.

TUESDAY -DEC 18 – Mostly sunny and colder, high in the upper 30s.

WEDNESDAY – DEC 19 – Sunny, high in the low 40s.

THURSDAY – DEC 20 – Partly sunny, high in the mid 40s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – East-southeast wind to 13 knots seas 3 feet.

OUTLOOK – Small craft advisories expected Saturday into the day on Sunday with some gale force gusts possible Saturday night into Sunday;  advisories still expected Sunday night into Monday; possible small craft conditions lingering into Tuesday.
