Dry, breezy and chilly today and on Friday! Good chance of some snow Saturday night into Sunday!


Good morning!

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and there are some flurries falling in parts of the area. Temperatures range from near 30 in Clifton to the low 20s further inland, winds are brisk out of the west.

Today will be a partly sunny day ; it still will be breezy and chilly with highs only in the middle 30s and with the wind it will feel much colder.

Dry weather will continue Friday into the day on Saturday with slowly diminishing winds.

A good chance of at least some light snow Saturday night into Sunday as a low pressure moves offshore to our south. At the present time accumulations is expected to be one to two inches.

Dry and seasonably cold weather is expected for the first half of next week.

TODAY – JAN 10 – Mostly cloudy this morning then becoming partly sunny, windy with gusts to 35 mph possible, high in the mid 30s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the upper teens.

FRIDAY – JAN 11 – Sunny and breezy, high in the low 30s.

SATURDAY – JAN 12 – Increasing cloudiness, high in the low 30s. Chance of light snow at night.

SUNDAY – JAN 13 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of light snow, high in the low 30s.

MONDAY – JAN 14 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 30s.

TUESDAY – JAN 15 – Sunny, high near 40.

WEDNESDAY – JAN 16 – Mostly sunny, high near 40.

MARINE FORECAST: A gale warning is in effect until 9 p.m. this evening for northwest winds gusting to 40 knots, seas 4-7 feet.

OUTLOOK – Small craft conditions expected Friday morning; no advisories expected Friday afternoon through Saturday night; small craft advisories expected Sunday and Monday.
