Cloudy and cold with a chance of light snow mainly tonight! Dry and cool on Thursday! Unsettled weather Friday through the weekend!


Good morning!

Skies are cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures are chilly with readings ranging from the low 20s in Clifton down to 12 at High Point, winds are light northerly.

Today will be a cloudy and cold day with a slight chance of snow during the day but a better chance this evening, accumulations may be a coating to an inch.

Sunshine returns on Thursday with seasonably cool temperatures.

Unsettled weather Friday through the weekend with chances of snow and or rain as a few disturbances move through our area. There is a slight chance of snow on Friday with rain or snow chances continuing over the weekend, at this time if any precipitation falls it should be light.

Mainly dry and cold weather next week!

TODAY – FEB 27 – Cloudy, high near 30.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with a chance of light snow, low in the upper 20s, possible accumulations at coating to one inch.

THURSDAY – FEB 28 – Mostly sunny, high near 40.

FRIDAY – MAR 1 – Mostly cloudy, high near 40.

SATURDAY – MAR 2 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain or snow in the morning and a chance of rain in the afternoon, high in the low 40s.

SUNDAY – MAR 3 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of light rain, high in the low 40s.

MONDAY – MAR 4 – Chance of light snow early in the morning then becoming partly sunny, high in the mid 30s.

TUESDAY – MAR 5 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 30s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – North-northwest winds to 8 knots, seas less than 1 foot.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Thursday through the day on Saturday; possible small craft advisories Saturday night into Sunday.
