Dry weather with near seasonable temperatures today and on Wednesday! Rain likely on Thursday!


Good morning!

Skies are mostly clear across the area early on this Tuesday morning. With calm winds, temperatures are again chilly ranging from around 30 in Clifton to the upper teens further inland.

Today will start off sunny but become mostly cloudy this afternoon, temperatures will be a couple of degrees higher than yesterday. High pressure will be over the area and the winds will be light.

Another dry day on Wednesday with temperatures a little higher than today as high pressure moves off the coast.

Rain is likely on Thursday as low pressure moves into the area, rainfall amounts of 1/4 to 1/2 inch possible.

Dry weather will return on Friday, temperatures will be near seasonable levels but the winds will increase by late in the day.

Dry weather for the weekend, Saturday will be cool and windy but milder on Sunday with less wind.

Mild and dry weather continues for Monday.

FRIDAY – MAR 22 – Partly sunny and breezy, high in the low 50s.

SATURDAY – MAR 23 – Mostly sunny and breezy, high in the upper 40s.

SUNDAY – MAR 24 – Sunny, high near 60.

MONDAY – MAR 25 – Mostly sunny, high near 60.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – North-northwest wind to 6 knots, seas 1 foot.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Wednesday through the day on Thursday; small craft advisories likely Thursday night into Friday; gale force winds likely Friday night; small craft advisories expected on Saturday.
