Mostly sunny and breezy today! A light shower possible late tonight! Unsettled weather Wednesday night through the weekend!

Good morning!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are much cooler than this time yesterday with readings ranging from the low 40s in Clifton down to the middle 30s further inland, winds are from the west-northwest around 10 mph. Yesterday we received 1.04″ of rain.

High pressure building in from West Virginia will give us a mostly sunny day, it still will be breezy but not as windy as yesterday, high temperatures will rise into the 60s.

A backdoor cold front will cross the area tonight possibly accompanied by a light shower.

Another mostly sunny day is expected on Wednesday with seasonably mild temperatures, however a warm front will be slowly approaching from the south that will give us a chance of light rain or drizzle Wednesday night into Thursday.

The warm front will move to our north on Friday which will bring warmer and more humid air into our area, showers and some thunderstorms are likely especially from Friday night into Saturday, some of the rain may be heavy at times.

Still a chance of a shower on Easter Sunday as an upper level low will be over the area.

Dry weather with mild temperatures are expected for early next week.
