Good morning!

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures are mainly in the low to mid 50s across the area. Winds are calm or light easterly. Around a half of inch of rain fell in overnight showers and thunderstorms.

The disturbance that gave us the rain overnight is moving offshore and today will be mostly cloudy but it will be milder with temperatures around 10 degrees warmer than yesterday. There will be a slight chance of a shower but most of the area will remain dry.

A stronger low pressure area will be moving to our south on Sunday, rain will develop after midnight tonight and continue through most of the day before ending by Sunday evening. Rainfall amounts of around 3/4 of an inch is likely.

Monday and Tuesday looks to be fine spring days with mild temperatures and plenty of sunshine both days.

Unsettled weather returns for the middle and the later part of next week with showers possible along with cooler than normal temperatures.

FRIDAY – MAY 10 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the low 60s.

OUTLOOK – Small craft advisory conditions possible Sunday night; no advisories expected Monday through Wednesday.
