Pleasantly warm with plenty of sunshine on this Memorial Day! Showers likely and cooler on Tuesday!


Good morning!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Memorial Day morning and temperatures are mild with readings ranging from the mid 60s in Clifton down to the low 50s further inland, winds are light northerly.

A cold front came through overnight and today will become mostly sunny as a weak high pressure builds over the area. Temperatures and the humidity will be slightly lower than yesterday.

A weak low pressure moving along a front to our south on Tuesday will likely cause showers, mainly falling in the afternoon and night. Temperatures will be cooler with an onshore wind and cloudiness.

Most of Wednesday will be dry and seasonably warm but there will be a chance of showers at night.

Thursday looks to be a warm day but with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Friday looks to be a good day with plenty of sunshine and seasonably warm temperatures.

Unsettled weather returns for next weekend with a chance of showers mainly Saturday afternoon into the evening, however temperatures will continue to be above normal.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low around 60.

TUESDAY – MAY 28 – Mostly cloudy with showers likely mainly in the afternoon, high near 70. Chance of showers and thunderstorms at night.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 29 – Partly sunny, high near 80. Chance of showers after 8 p.m.

THURSDAY – MAY 30 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY – MAY 31 – Mostly sunny, high near 80.

SATURDAY – JUN 1 – Mostly sunny with a chance of showers, high near 80.

SUNDAY – JUN 2 – Mostly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high near 80.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Northerly wind to 9 knots, seas 1 foot.
