Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and it is warm with temperatures ranging from the low 70s in Clifton down to the mid 60s further inland, winds are light southwest.

Today we will see an increase in cloudiness as a warm front approaches the area. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon but most of the heavy rain will fall this evening and a flash flood watch is in effect. Rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches can be expected with higher amounts possible. High temperatures will be lower than yesterday but the humidity will be higher with dew points rising to the low 70s.

A cold front will cross the area Friday morning, we should see partly sunny skies and it will be quite warm but the humidity will lower as the day goes on.

The weekend looks to be dry and very warm to hot but the humidity will be low to moderate.

Summerlike warmth will continue much of next week and be mainly rainfree, the humidity will start off low but increase as the week goes on.
