Mostly sunny and warm today but becoming less humid! Comfortably warm with low humidity and plenty of sunshine on Monday! Warm and more humid with possible showers Tuesday night through Thursday!

Skies across the area are mostly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and temperatures range from the upper 60s in Clifton down to near 60 further inland, winds are mainly calm and the humidity is still on the high side with dew points in the upper 60s.

The front that caused the heavy thunderstorms around midnight will be moving to our south and high pressure will build into our area giving us a mostly sunny day today with gradually lower humidity, there is a slight chance of a shower in the afternoon but most areas will remain dry.

A very nice day on Monday with seasonable temperatures and low humidity along with plenty of sunshine as high pressure continues over our area.

Warmer and becoming more humid Tuesday as a warm front moves into our area. Then a front will give us a good chance of showers and thunderstorms late Tuesday through Thursday with the best chance of rain will be Wednesday through Thursday morning.

High pressure will then build into our area for Friday bringing in less humid air although there will still be a low chance of a shower.

At this time next weekend looks to be dry with comfortable temperatures and humidity.

THURSDAY – AUG 8 – Partly sunny and humid with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, high in the upper 80s.

FRIDAY – AUG 9 – Mostly sunny and becoming less humid, a chance of a shower or thunderstorm, high in the mid 80s.

SATURDAY – AUG 10 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.
