Skies across the area are partly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from the upper 60s in Clifton down to around 60 further inland, winds are mainly calm.

High pressure over New England will give us a partly sunny day. It will be a little cooler today with an onshore wind but the humidity will gradually rise by late in the day and evening.

Warmer and more humid over the weekend with a low chance of an afternoon and evening shower and thunderstorm.

Monday will be hot along with high humidity as temperatures rise into the 90s, and with dew points in the 70s it will feel quite uncomfortable.

A slow moving cold front will cause some showers and thunderstorms from Tuesday afternoon into Thursday morning, it will remain quite warm and humid.

Cooler and less humid late next week as high pressure builds into the area.
