Skies are clear early on this Sunday morning and it is comfortably cool with temperatures ranging from near 60 in Clifton down to 45 degrees at Walpack, winds are light and the humidity is low.

NOTE: Last year on this date we had over 3 inches of rain, while Little Falls and Cedar Grove received more than 5 inches causing massive flooding with cars floating down the Peckman River.

High pressure over our area will give us another nice day today with plenty of sunshine, comfortably warm temperatures and low humidity.

The high pressure will slowly move off the coast on Monday with a southwest flow of slightly warmer and more humid air along with mostly sunny skies.

A front will move into the area on Tuesday with a low pressure moving along the front will cause showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain possible, the showers will persist at night before ending early Wednesday morning.

Dry and comfortable weather is expected Wednesday through at least the beginning of next weekend!

Skies across the area are mostly clear and the temperatures are on the cool side with temperatures ranging from the low 60s in Clifton down to the low 50s further inland, winds are light and the humidity is low. At 5:15 am this morning the temperature at my station is 61 degrees which is the coolest reading since June 22nd.

High pressure will dominate our weather this weekend providing our area with mostly sunny skies both today and tomorrow along with comfortably warm temperatures and low humidity. There is just a slight chance of sprinkles from a passing cloud this afternoon, but most areas will be dry.

Monday will be a little warmer and slightly more humid, but we will have plenty of sunshine.

A frontal system will likely give us some showers and thunderstorms Tuesday into Wednesday; it will be warm and humid.

High pressure will then build into our area for the end of next week giving our area seasonably warm temperatures along with lower humidity.

A rather active day today as a trough of low pressure will be approaching our area, showers and thunderstorms may occur at any point today but be most likely this afternoon and evening.
