Skies are clear early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures are cooler with readings ranging from the mid 50s in Clifton down to a chilly 38 degrees at Walpack, winds are light northeasterly.

High pressure building down from eastern Canada will give us a mostly sunny day today and on Thursday with cool temperatures and low humidity, tonight with clear skies and light winds most places will drop into the 40s.

The high pressure will then settle to our south and a return flow of warmer air will develop over our area on Friday and continue into early next week, no rain is expected.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the upper 40s.

THURSDAY – SEP 19 – Sunny, high in the low 70s.

FRIDAY – SEP 20 – Sunny, high near 80.

SATURDAY – SEP 21 – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

SUNDAY – SEP 22 – Sunny, high in the mid 80s.

MONDAY – SEP 23 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.

TUESDAY – SEP 24 – Mostly sunny, high near 80.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m Friday morning for northeast winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 4-7 feet.

OUTLOOK: Advisories likely to continue through Friday; no advisories expected for Saturday and Sunday.

TROPICS:

Hurricane Humberto is now a category 3 hurricane with top winds of 115 mph, Humberto is located 285 miles west of Bermuda and is expected to bring hurricane conditions to the island on Friday.
