Skies across the area are mostly cloudy and temperatures range from the mid 50s in Clifton down to around 40 further inland were there are less clouds, winds are light northerly.

The coastal storm that became Subtropical Storm Melissa is finally moving further east and we should see clearing today along with much less wind and milder temperatures.

High pressure will build into our area on Sunday producing plenty of sunshine with seasonably mild temperatures. If we stay dry this weekend it will be the 8th straight weekend without any measurable rainfall.

Dry weather with seasonably mild temperatures Monday and Tuesday.

A frontal system will likely give our area rain on Wednesday followed by dry and cool weather for the end of next week.

TODAY – OCT 12 -Partly sunny and milder, high near 70.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low around 50.

SUNDAY – OCT 13 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

MONDAY – OCT 14 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 70s.

TUESDAY – OCT 15 – Sunny, high in the upper 60s.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 16 – Mostly cloudy with rain likely, high in the upper 60s.

THURSDAY – OCT 17 – Sunny, breezy and cooler, high near 60.

FRIDAY – OCT 18 – Sunny, high in the low 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Sunday morning for northwest winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 7-10 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Sunday through the day on Wednesday; advisories expected Wednesday night into Thursday.
