Mostly sunny and cool weather with light winds this weekend! Mainly dry next week and becoming much colder by the end of the week!


Good morning!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Saturday morning and there is some frost in our area. Temperatures range from the upper 30s in Clifton down to the mid 20s further inland winds are mainly calm.

High pressure will build over the area today giving us a mostly sunny and cool day with seasonably cool temperatures and light winds.

A weak cold front will come through tonight with only a few clouds. The day on Sunday will again be mostly sunny with seasonably cool temperatures and light winds.

Next week will be mainly dry, temperatures will continue to be seasonably cool expect a little above normal on Tuesday. Much colder weather is expected Friday into next weekend.

TODAY – NOV 2 – Areas of frost this morning then becoming sunny, high in the mid 50s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the upper 30s.

SUNDAY – NOV 3 – Some frost in the morning, sunny, high in the low 50s.

MONDAY – NOV 4 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 50s.

TUESDAY – NOV 5 – Partly sunny, high near 60.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 6 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 50s.

THURSDAY – NOV 7 – Partly sunny, high in the mid 50s.

FRIDAY – NOV 8 – Mostly sunny and colder, high only in the low 40s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – Light and variable winds, seas 1 foot.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Sunday through Wednesday.

CLIFTON’S CLIMATE SUMMARY FOR OCTOBER 2019.

The average temperature was 3.5 degrees above normal making this the 5th warmest October since I started records in 1973. The highest temperature was 92 degrees on the 2nd which was the hottest October temperature. The lowest temperature was 39 degrees on the 19th. Precipitation totalled 9.77 making this the second wettest October since 1973.

    almost all the leaves fell in the last 4 days … between the winds and the Halloween rain… – at least I’ll have time to clean them up before Thanksgiving…
