Skies across the area are partly cloudy and temperatures are a little milder than this time yesterday with readings ranging from the low 40s in Clifton down to the low 30s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

Today will be a mild day but a weak cold front crossing our area may cause some light showers during the day but most of the rain will be east of our area.

High pressure will build into the area on Wednesday and it will be a mostly sunny day with cooler temperatures.

A stronger front will likely give us rain late Thursday possibly mixing with a little snow before ending around midnight, little or no accumulation is expected in our area but a dusting is possible further inland.

Much colder air will move into the area Friday into Saturday with fair weather, temperature Saturday morning should drop into the 20s with some teens further inland.

A little milder and sunny on Sunday.

Another strong cold front will give us a chance of rain Sunday night into Monday that may again change to a mixture of snow before ending late Monday night.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming clear, low around 40.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 6 – Sunny, high in the mid 50s.

THURSDAY – NOV 7 – Increasing cloudiness with a chance of rain mainly after 4 p.m. high in the mid 50s. Rain may mix with snow before ending around midnight.

FRIDAY – NOV 8 – Mostly sunny, breezy and much colder, high in the low 40s.

SATURDAY – NOV 9 – Sunny, high in the low 40s.

SUNDAY – NOV 10 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 50s, chance of rain at night.

VETERANS DAY – NOV 11 – Partly sunny with a chance of rain, high in the upper 40s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – South-southwest wind to 9 knots, seas 1-2 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Wednesday and Thursday; gale force winds possible on Friday; small craft advisories possible early Saturday.
