Skies are partly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from the mid 30s in Clifton down to the mid 20s further inland, winds are gusty out of the north.

A cold front came through our area overnight as high pressure builds in from north of the Great Lakes, temperatures will hold steady today with a brisk northerly wind that will make it feel colder despite mostly sunny skies.

A coastal low off the Carolina coast will be moving slowly northeast, clouds from this system will increase in our area on Sunday, temperatures will continue to be chilly with gusty winds. Rain may spread into the area around midnight possibly mixed with sleet at the start.

Rain is likely with continued cool temperatures and gusty winds on Monday, most of the rain will be in the morning but the chance of showers will continue into Monday night.

Dry weather with temperatures at or slightly below normal Tuesday through Thursday.

A front may touch off some showers late Thursday night into Friday.

SUNDAY – NOV 17 – Increasing cloudiness and breezy, high in the low 40s.

MONDAY – NOV 18 – Cloudy with rain likely mainly in the morning, chance of showers in the afternoon, high in the mid 40s.

TUESDAY – NOV 19 – Mostly cloudy, high near 50.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 20 – Partly sunny, high near 50.

THURSDAY – NOV 21 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 50s, chance of showers after midnight.

FRIDAY – NOV 22 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the low 50s.

MARINE FORECAST: A gale warning is in effect until 6 a.m. Monday morning for northeast winds gusting to 45 knots, seas 7-12 feet.

OUTLOOK – Small craft advisories expected to continue on Monday; no advisories expected on Tuesday; advisories possible Wednesday afternoon.
