Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning and there is some scattered light rain or drizzle in parts of the area, temperatures range from the mid 30s in Clifton down to the upper 20s further inland, winds are still a little gusty out of the north.

A coastal low off the New Jersey coast will cause cloudy skies today with a chance of some light rain during the day, some of this precipitation may be in the frozen form this morning across the higher elevations of northwest New Jersey and the Poconos. Temperatures will still be chilly and winds will still be a little gusty. Rain is likely tonight.

Clearing and not as cold on Tuesday.

Dry weather should continue Wednesday and Thursday with near normal temperatures.

Friday will be the mildest day of the week but a cold front may cause some showers mainly in the morning.

Mainly dry weather is expected for the weekend, temperatures will be slightly below normal.

TONIGHT – Cloudy with rain likely, low in the mid 30s.

TUESDAY – NOV 19 – Partly sunny and milder, high in the low 50s.

WEDNESDAY – NOV 20 – Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon, high near 50.

THURSDAY – NOV 21 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 50s.

FRIDAY – NOV 22 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in the morning then becoming partly sunny in the afternoon, mild, high in the upper 50s.

SATURDAY – NOV 23 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

SUNDAY – NOV 24 – Partly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon for northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 7-12 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Tuesday evening through Wednesday morning; possible small craft conditions Wednesday afternoon and evening; no advisories expected during the day on Thursday; advisories again possible Thursday night and Friday.
