Skies are partly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures range from near 30 in Clifton down to the low 20s further inland, winds are light.

High pressure to our north will give us a partly sunny and cool day today but with much less wind than yesterday, we should see an increase in clouds by late this afternoon.

A complex low pressure system will give us precipitation Sunday and Monday. Snow should begin by late in the morning then change to a mixture of snow, sleet and freezing rain in the afternoon before changing to all rain Sunday night, accumulations on Sunday should be around 1-2 inches. The storm will become stronger as it slowly moves up the coast and rain should change to all snow by Monday afternoon and continue through the night, additional accumulations on Monday may be between 2-4 inches with higher amounts to our north and west.

Dry and cool weather is then expected Tuesday through the end of next week.

SUNDAY – DEC 1 – Snow developing mainly after 9 a.m. mixing with sleet and rain in the afternoon with mainly rain Sunday night, accumulations of 1-2 inches possible, high near 40.

MONDAY – DEC 2 – Rain and sleet changing to all snow by noon and continuing into the night, additional accumulations of 2-4 inches possible.

TUESDAY – DEC 3 – Mostly sunny, high near 40.

WEDNESDAY – DEC 4 – Partly sunny, high in the low 40s.

THURSDAY -DEC 5 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 40s.

FRIDAY – DEC 6 – Partly sunny, high in the low 40s.
