Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and it is still rather chilly with temperatures ranging from the low 20s in Clifton down to 9 degrees at Walpack, winds are mainly calm.

High pressure building into the area will give us milder temperatures after a chilly start, temperatures will rise into the 40s which is a little above normal for this first full day of winter.

A southwest flow will give us even milder temperatures on Monday with highs near 50 degrees again with plenty of sunshine.

Dry and slightly cooler Tuesday and Christmas Day but temperatures will still be a little above normal.

Mainly dry weather Thursday through Saturday with mild temperatures.

A good chance of rain and mild weather for next Sunday.
