Skies across the area are cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures are mild with readings ranging from the low 40s in Clifton down to the mid 30s further inland, these temperatures are nearly 20 degrees warmer than normal for this time of day in late December.

Today we will have cloudy skies but temperatures will be mild with readings in the 50s, a weak cold front will cross the area tonight but should come through dry with the only precipitation well north and west of our area.

Saturday will be quite a nice day for late December with mostly sunny skies and continued mild temperatures as high pressure builds into our area.

A low pressure system will give us rain from late Sunday afternoon through Monday night, the rain may be heavy at times especially Sunday night into Monday morning, rainfall amounts of 1 1/2 to 2 inches are likely, temperatures will continue to be mild.

Dry weather then is expected Tuesday through Thursday with slightly above normal temperatures.
