Today high pressure will be moving off the coast as a cold front approaches from the west, skies will be mostly cloudy and temperatures will be somewhat milder today with high tempertures near normal. The front will come through tonight with no precipitation expected.

Our weekend weather will be dry, temperatures will be cold on Saturday but be a little milder on Sunday as high pressure moves off the coast.

Monday and Tuesday will be quite mild but quite wet also with rain showers that will likely be heavy at times.

A cold front will cross the area late Tuesday night, Wednesday through Thursday will be colder and mainly dry except for possible snow flurries Wednesday morning.

No significant snowstorms are indicated on the computer models for at least another two weeks.

Weak high pressure moving into our area will give us partly sunny skies today, it will be breezy with temperatures slightly below normal.

A weak cold front on Friday will cause mostly cloudy skies, temperatures will be a couple of degrees milder than today. There is a slight chance of a shower but most places will stay dry.

Cold and dry on Saturday with temperatures moderating somewhat on Sunday after a chilly overnight.

Much milder Monday and Tuesday as high pressure moves offshore and a southerly flow of air develops. Showers are likely both days with highs well up into the 50s.

The coastal storm that gave us the snow yesterday is moving further off our coast and cloudy skies will give way to mostly sunny conditions, it will be breezy with seasonably cold temperatures.

Mainly dry weather Wednesday through the weekend, a couple of weak fronts may touch off a shower Wednesday night and again on Friday. Temperatures will continue average a bit below normal.

Milder early next week with a better chance of showers.

The coastal low is just off the New Jersey coast and is expected to only move slowly offshore, rain from this system will fall early this morning and then mix with snow later this morning and to all snow this afternoon and tonight. Snowfall amounts are extremely uncertain as it depends where the bands of very heavy snow occur. At this time I will predict 4-7 inches of snow in our area. Travel for the evening commute may become very difficult where the heaviest snow falls.
