Sunny and cold today with much less wind! Dry weather with a moderating temperatures tomorrow through Friday! Rain and snow over the weekend!

Skies are clear early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m range from 16 degrees in Clifton down to 4 degrees at Walpack, winds are light northwesterly. Note: Today January 21st has the coldest average temperature so we are halfway through winter weather.

A large area of high pressure centered over the middle of the country will dominate our weather today giving us sunny skies and cold temperatures but with much less wind than yesterday.

Dry weather will continue Wednesday through Friday, temperatures will moderate with highs near 40 on Wednesday rising to the upper 40s on Friday.

A storm system will affect our area over the weekend with rain and some snow. At this time it appears our area will be mostly rain but there will be more snow to our north and west especially over higher elevations.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low in the upper teens.

WEDNESDAY – JAN 22 – Sunny, high near 40.

SATURDAY – JAN 25 – Cloudy with snow changing to rain likely, high in the low 40s, rain mixed with snow at night.

SUNDAY – JAN 26 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the low 40s.

MONDAY – JAN 27 – Partly sunny, high in the mid 40s.
