Skies are mostly fair early on this Sunday morning and temperatures range from the mid 30s in Clifton down to the upper 20s further inland, winds are light westerly.

The low pressure that caused the heavy rain yesterday is moving off the New England coast as high pressure in the middle of the country builds toward our area. Today will be a mostly sunny day with temperatures around ten degrees above normal.

This coming week will be mainly dry and temperatures will be at or slightly above normal, the only precipitation may come in a brief sprinkle or flurry tomorrow morning.

Another storm system may affect our area on Saturday giving us a chance of rain or snow.

TONIGHT – Partly cloudy, low in the low 30s.

MONDAY – JAN 27 – Partly sunny with a chance of a flurry or sprinkle, high in the mid 40s.

WEDNESDAY – JAN 29 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 40s.

THURSDAY – JAN 30 – Mostly sunny, high near 40.

FRIDAY – JAN 31 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 40s.

SATURDAY – FEB 1 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain or snow, high in the mid 40s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. this evening for westerly winds gusting to 20 mph, seas 4-6 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected Monday through Thursday.
