Sunny and cold today! Mostly sunny and milder Saturday through Monday! Rain likely on Tuesday and continued mild!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday morning and temperatures are chilly with readings ranging from the upper teens in Clifton down to 8 degrees at Walpack, winds are mainly light out of the north.

Strong high pressure will continue to dominate our weather today and there will be more sunshine than yesterday but it will continue to be cold with highs only in the 30s.

Pleasantly mild weather for the weekend with plenty of sunshine both days.

Dry and mild weather on Monday but we should see an increase in clouds and a chance of rain at night.

Mild with periods of rain Tuesday and Wednesday as a low pressure area moves through the area.

A stronger low pressure area now looks to move to our west and north and has been the case much of this winter it looks now that it will only give us rain with any snow well north and west of our area.

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – FEB 21 – Sunny, high in the mid 30s.

TONIGHT – Clear, low in the low 20s.

SATURDAY – FEB 22 – Sunny and milder, high in the upper 40s.

SUNDAY – FEB 23 – Sunny, high in the low 50s.

MONDAY – FEB 24 – Increasing cloudiness, high in the mid 50s, chance of rain at night.

TUESDAY – FEB 25 – Cloudy with rain likely, high in the low 50s.

WEDNESDAY – FEB 26 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the low 50s.

THURSDAY – FEB 27 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the mid 40s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until noon today for northerly winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet. Winds and see diminishing by this afternoon.

OUTLOOK: No advisories expected Saturday through Tuesday night; advisories expected on Wednesday.
