Showers this morning then clearing, breezy and quite mild this afternoon! Mainly dry and cooler Saturday and Sunday !


Good morning!

We have cloudy skies with some drizzle falling early on this Friday the 13th morning and temperatures are mainly in the low 40s, winds are light easterly.

A frontal system with a warm front moving through our area will cause showers this morning, some showers may be heavy at times with a rumble of thunder possible, rainfall amounts of a half to three quarters of an inch possible. Clearing and becoming very mild this afternoon before a cold front crosses the area. Winds will become gusty out of the west up to 30 mph. Mostly clear tonight and becoming cooler with diminishing winds.

Strong high pressure will give our area mainly dry and cooler weather Saturday and Sunday although there is a slight chance of sprinkles Saturday night.

Monday will be the coolest day with highs below normal which has not happened much this month.

A weak frontal system will give us a chance of showers on Tuesday that may be mixed with snow in the morning, it will be milder in the afternoon.

Dry Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures again above normal for the middle of March.

The Forecast:

Today – Rain this morning with a slight chance of a thunderstorm, clearing, breezy and very mild this afternoon, high near 70.

Tonight – Mostly clear, cooler with diminishing winds, low in the mid 30s.

Saturday – Sunny, high in the mid 50s.

Sunday – Sunny, high near 50.

Monday – Sunny, high in the mid 40s

Tuesday – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow showers in the morning and a chance of rain showers in the afternoon, high in the mid 50s.

Wednesday – Sunny, high in the upper 50s.

Thursday – Partly w, high in the upper 50s.

Marine Forecast: A small craft advisory is in effect until 11 p.m tonight for westerly winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 4-6 feet.

Outlook: No advisories expected Saturday through Tuesday.
