Becoming mostly sunny and mild after early morning cloudiness and showers! Periods of rain Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening!


Good morning!

Skies are cloudy early on this Friday morning and there are some light sprinkles or drizzle falling over parts of the area, it is mild with temperatures ranging from near 50 in Clifton down to the mid 40s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

A weak cold front will pass through the area this morning with some clouds and light rain showers, clearing will occur behind the front but not much cold air is behind the front so temperatures should rise into the 60s.

After having seven straight weekends without any measurable precipitation this weekend will end the streak as a warm front will cause rain to develop Saturday afternoon with periods of rain continuing through Sunday, temperatures will be cooler on Saturday but become warmer on Sunday.

Dry weather is expected Monday through the day on Tuesday but another low pressure area will give our area a chance of rain Tuesday night into Wednesday.

TODAY – MAR 27 – Mostly cloudy this morning with a chance of showers, becoming mostly sunny by this afternoon, high in the mid 60s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the upper 30s.

SATURDAY – MAR 28 – Partly sunny in the morning then cloudy with rain in the afternoon and at night, high in the low 50s.

SUNDAY – MAR 29 – Cloudy with rain, high near 60.

MONDAY – MAR 30 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 60s.

TUESDAY – MAR 31 – Partly sunny, high in the mid 50s, chance of rain at night.

WEDNESDAY – APR 1 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high near 50.

THURSDAY – APR 2 – Mostly cloudy early then becoming partly sunny, high in the upper 50s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect for high seas till noon today, winds southwest becoming northwest around 15 knots, seas 5-6 feet.
