Skies are cloudy early on this Saturday morning and there is some light rain falling in the area, temperatures range from near 40 in Clifton down to the low 30s further inland, winds are light.

An area of low pressure will be moving through the area and off the coast today, most of the rain from the system will end by noon but there will still be a chance of an isolated shower this afternoon. Clearing by this evening.

Sunday will be a nice spring day with mostly sunny skies and milder temperatures as high pressure builds into our area from the southwest.

Another low pressure will be moving to our south but still close enough to possibly give our area some light rain Monday morning but most areas will stay dry.

A weak cold front will give us a chance of showers Tuesday afternoon

Dry and cool weather is expected for Wednesday as high pressure builds into our area.

A stronger low pressure will likely give heavier rain Thursday afternoon into Friday.

TODAY – APR 18 – Cloudy this morning with periods of rain, mostly cloudy this afternoon with a chance of a shower, high in the low 50s.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the upper 30s.

SUNDAY – APR 19 – Sunny and milder, high in the mid 60s.

MONDAY – APR 20 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of light rain in the morning then becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon, high in the upper 50s.

TUESDAY – APR 21 – Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon showers, high in the low 60s.

WEDNESDAY – APR 22 – Sunny, high in the mid 50s.

THURSDAY – APR 23 – Partly sunny in the morning then becoming mostly cloudy with a chance of rain in the afternoon, high in the low 60s, rain likely at night.

FRIDAY – APR 24 – Mostly cloudy with showers likely in the morning, chance of showers in the afternoon, high in the mid 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 10 p.m. tonight for northwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-5 feet.

OUTLOOK – Small craft advisories expected for much of the period Sunday through Wednesday.
