Mostly sunny, windy and unseasonable cool today! Freeze warning again for tonight! Rain late Thursday into Friday and again late Saturday through Sunday!


Good morning!

Skies are mostly clear early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures are chilly with readings ranging from the mid 30s in Clifton down to the upper 20s further inland, winds are gusty out of the northwest.

After yesterday’s showers and thunderstorms today will be mostly sunny but it will be windy and unseasonably cool, some wind gusts to 35 mph possible. Clear with diminishing winds tonight and temperatures will fall to the low 30s. a freeze warning is in effect.

Thursday will start off dry but a storm system will give us rain from late in the day through Friday, rainfall amounts of 1 to 1 1/2 inches likely,

Saturday will be dry to start but another storm system will again give our area rain from Saturday night through Sunday with some showers lingering into Monday, another inch of rain is possible.

Mainly cooler than normal weather is expected to continue through the end of the month and it may be the first April since at least 1974 that the temperature failed to hit the 70 degree mark.

THURSDAY – APR 23 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain in the afternoon, high in the low 50s, rain at night.

FRIDAY – APR 24 – Rain, high in the mid 50s, rainfall amounts of 1 to 1 1/2 inches possible.

SATURDAY – APR 25 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 50s, rain likely at night.

SUNDAY – APR 26 – Rain likely, high in the mid 50s.

MONDAY – APR 27 – Mostly cloudy in the morning with a chance of a shower becoming partly sunny in the afternoon, high in the mid 50s.

TUESDAY – APR 28 – Mostly sunny, high near 60.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 11 p.m. tonight for westerly winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 3-6 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected during the day on Thursday; advisories possible Thursday night through Sunday.
