Cloudy and cool with periods of rain today! Mostly sunny and milder on Saturday! More rain and chilly Sunday into Monday!


Good morning!

Skies are cloudy and light rain is falling in our area early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from near 40 in Clifton down to the mid 30s further inland, winds are mainly light from the north.

A storm system will be moving through the area today with periods of mainly light rain which will end later this afternoon, it will be chilly today with the clouds and rain.

Saturday will see a return of sunshine with milder temperatures.

Another storm system will give us more rain Sunday into Monday along with quite cool temperatures.

Tuesday looks to be dry as high pressure builds into the area and it will not be as cool.

Still another storm system will give us good chance of more rain Wednesday into Thursday, temperatures will be a little below normal.

TODAY – APR 24 – Cloudy with periods or rain, high near 50.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy, low around 40.

SATURDAY – APR 25 – Sunny, high in the low 60s.

SUNDAY – APR 26 – Cloudy with rain likely, high in the low 50s.

MONDAY – APR 27 – Mostly cloudy with rain likely mainly in the morning, high in the low 50s.

TUESDAY – APR 28 – Mostly sunny, high near 60.

WEDNESDAY – APR 29 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain by the afternoon, high near 60.

THURSDAY – APR 30 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high near 60.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday morning for northeast winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 5-8 feet.

OUTLOOK – Advisories possible for high seas on Saturday; advisories probable Sunday and Monday; no advisories expected for Tuesday.
