Mostly cloudy and mild today with some showers likely! Quite mild weather for the weekend, sunny on Saturday but a low chance of showers Sunday afternoon and evening!

Skies are cloudy early on this Friday morning and there are some light showers in parts of the area, temperatures are mild with readings mainly in the low 50s, winds are light out of the southeast.

The storm system that gave us the winds and some heavy rain yesterday is slowly moving off the coast but it will be close enough to cause mostly cloudy conditions today with a chance of some showers, \ mainly this afternoon, with a chance of an isolated thunderstorm. Temperatures will be mild.

Saturday will be sunny with quite mild temperatures as high pressure builds into our area.

Continued quite mild on Sunday but there is a low chance of some afternoon and evening showers.

Most of next week will be mainly dry with temperatures a little cooler than normal.

TODAY – MAY 1 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower this morning, showers likely this afternoon with a chance of an isolated thunderstorm, high in the mid 60s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy in the evening with a chance of showers and an isolated thunderstorm, low in the upper 40s.

SATURDAY – MAY 2 – Sunny, high near 70.

SUNDAY – MAY 3 – Mostly cloudy in the morning then partly sunny in the afternoon with a chance of showers, high in the mid 70s.

MONDAY – MAY 4 – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 60s.

TUESDAY – MAY 5 – Sunny, high in the low 60s.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 6 – Mostly sunny, high near 60.

THURSDAY – MAY 7 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 60s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday morning, winds southwest to 10 mph, seas 7-9 feet.

OUTLOOK – Advisories possible Saturday morning for high seas otherwise no advisories expected Saturday afternoon through Tuesday.
