Sunny, breezy and cool today! Sunny and cool with less wind on Wednesday! Dry and milder on Thursday! Warm with showers on Friday!


Good morning!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and temperatures are chilly again ranging from the upper 30s in Clifton down to the low 30s further inland, winds are light westerly. These temperatures are near record lows for today.

High pressure building into the area will provide area with plenty of sunshine and it will be breezy, temperatures will reach around 60 degrees which is about 10 degrees below normal.

Chilly tonight with lows again in the 30s, some frost or freeze warnings possible further inland. During the day on Wednesday it will be cool again with sunny skies but with less wind than today.

A little milder on Thursday and the day will be dry but a warm front may cause some showers at night.

Much warmer on Friday with a southwest flow but there will be a chance of showers as a cold front approaches from the west.

Saturday should be dry and a few degrees cooler.

Another frontal system will give us a chance of showers Saturday night through Monday with near normal temperatures.

Looking ahead it appears that the rest of next week will be quite warm.

WEDNESDAY – MAY 13 – Sunny, high in the low 60s.

THURSDAY – MAY 14 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 60s, chance of showers at night.

FRIDAY – MAY 15 – Partly sunny and warmer with a chance of showers, high near 80.

SATURDAY – MAY 16 – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 70s, chance of showers at night.

SUNDAY – MAY 17 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers, high near 70.

MONDAY – MAY 18 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, high in the low 70s.

MARINE FORECAST: A small craft advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. this evening for northwest winds gusting to 25 knots, seas 3-5 feet.

OUTLOOK – No advisories expected for Wednesday through the day on Thursday; advisories expected Thursday night through Friday night; no advisories expected for Saturday.
