Skies are mainly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from the mid 60s in Clifton down to around 60 further inland, winds are mainly calm and the humidity is high.

High pressure has moved offshore and a light southerly flow of warm and humid weather will be with us today. There will be a chance of some showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, some of these storms may be accompanied by some heavy downpours, however many areas will remain dry.

The high pressure will remain offshore this weekend with a continued southerly flow of warm and humid air along with chances of mainly afternoon showers and thunderstorms.

Very warm to hot weather most of next week with the best chances of showers and thunderstorms occurring on Monday.
