Skies across the area are mostly cloudy and it is quite warm and humid with temperatures ranging from the low 70s in Clifton down to the low 60s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

A cold front will cross the area this afternoon preceded by humid conditions and only a low chance of a shower or thunderstorms. Skies will become mostly sunny this afternoon along with lower humidity and gusty westerly winds.

Mainly dry and comfortably warm Thursday and Friday with only a low chance of an afternoon shower on Thursday.

Quite warm to hot weather is expected over the weekend with slowly increasing humidity. A cold front approaching the area may touch off a shower or thunderstorm Saturday night into Sunday.

Dry and warm weather expected for early next week.
