Skies are mostly clear early on this Sunday morning and it is warm and muggy with temperatures ranging from the mid 70s in Clifton down to the mid 60s further inland, winds are mainly calm or light southwesterly.

High pressure ridge building into our area will give us a hot and sunny day today with temperatures rising into the mid 90s. The humidity will be moderate with dew points in the 60s.

Even a couple of degrees hotter on Monday again with sunny skies and moderate humidity.

Still very hot on Tuesday and more humid as a cold front approaches. The front may touch off some showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon that may become quite strong.

Dry weather is expected with more pleasant temperatures Wednesday into next weekend and although temperatures will be slightly above normal the humidity will be low.
